In the world of polymer clay, the "second slice" is a bit of magic. After the first design is cut, I take the remaining scraps, piece them together, and create a new slab. Often, these unintended patterns and blended colors turn out even more beautiful than the original plan. Second Slice Jewelry Studio is my own creative second act. After more than 20 years of working with beads, wire, and clay, I’ve turned my lifelong passion into a mission to share the joy of making with others. I believe that jewelry is more than just an accessory—it’s a story you wear. Whether you are 10 years old or 100, a seasoned artist or someone who "isn't creative," there is a seat for you at my table. Based out of The Makery in State College, my monthly classes are designed to be a relaxed space where mistakes turn into masterpieces and everyone leaves with something they are proud to wear.
